Studio Portraits and Headshots in Marin County San Rafael

I am proud to call Marin County home. It’s been a pleasure to meet some of the wonderful people in the SF Bay Area. I feel blessed to live and work in such a beautiful and welcoming environment. With every year that passes, I grow more connected to the community and Marin County. Here are some recent faces that have stopped by my home studio in San Rafael and some new portraits I have taken around the San Francisco bay area.

San Dominican University Graduation Photography in San Rafael

The San Dominican University Campus in Marin County San Rafael is a beautiful place to take graduation portraits. Lets capture this special moment in your life!

Ferrari Of San Francisco Business Portraits

I was contacted by Emmanuel Turin, the marketing and motorsports manager at Ferrari of San Francisco, to photograph the staff. We got it done in one day! Everyone was very pleasant and easy to work with. I asked if we could do a trade for a Ferrari. They didn’t take me up on my offer. :) Thank you Mark Paddack for your assistance and for gathering the team!

The Graduating Class of Tam High School 2020

I was asked by my friend Jess Shay if I was interested in photographing the graduating class of 2020 at Tam High School with their family’s and I jumped at the opportunity! It warmed my heart to see the proud families from all different types of ethnic backgrounds and religions come together for this historic moment. We are all doing our best to show our support and pride to the graduating classes of 2020 under the circumstances of COVID 19. Like so many other schools across the country, Tam had to alter their graduation ceremony but was still able to make it very special. After the graduates received their diplomas they were told to meet in front of the school for photography. There were 416 graduates and I took multiple frames with different combinations of families plus the graduates by themselves. I shot about 500 frames on the first day and around 900 each of the following two days. I have experience shooting high volume photography and understand how important it is to direct and position for groups, be personal, but also be efficient. Thank you Anne Elisco-Lemme for all your help with the banner, flowers, and making sure the days ran smoothly. Congratulations to all of the 2020 graduates! I have posted a handful of my favorites to share with you! Just look at all of those beautiful smiling faces!

Sincerely,

Jason

SIP Family Portraits

The COVID 19 virus pandemic has hopefully helped us to reevaluate how we move forward as individuals and as a country. How do we better this country for our children and the generations that follow? How do we learn from our mistakes? I am a lifestyle and portrait photographer. I am not a journalist or a news photographer. I did however want to contribute and document in my own way, during these historic and challenging times. I wanted to give back to my Marin community by offering complimentary SIP portraits to my neighbors and friends. It was beautiful to see families together. Connecting and appreciating each other maybe now more than ever. I don’t usually create b/w images but for this series, the time felt right to have a combination of both color and b/w. If you would like to participate in this ongoing series please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Jason Todd
